A great part of staying in West End is getting to know some of its many restaurants, bars and eateries. From a quick gelato or a baleada after your first dive, to full course meals on decks over the water, there is something for every appetite and taste. The Bistro: Located right above West End Divers and specializing in Thai food. Full bar and lunch menu. Meals from around $8.

The Argentinean Grill: Great grilled steaks and chops, sausage and seafood. Meals from around $12.

Half Moon Bay Cabins Restaurant: Specializing in king crab and other seafood. Meals from around $12.

Mavis and Dixies: This Island style restaurant has tables on decks right on the beach. Fantastic smoothies and chicken tacos. Meals from around $8.

The Galley: Known as having the best pasta in town. Laid back atmosphere. Daily lunch specials and fine German and local beers in the evening. Meals from around $6.

The Yellow Shack: Quick and tasty local eats like baleadas with chicken, beef or avocado, Pastelitos or spicy tostadas. Also, breakfast for a buck! The fried chicken is outstanding. Meals from about a dollar!

Cannibal Cafe: Excellent Mexican food in a laid back atmosphere. Meals from about $10.
